     The Charleston favorite sold his namesake Brett's this past July with the idea of having a single focus on his latest project. With Oak, he looks to return to his roots and focus on the perfection of the personal connection, both in and out of the kitchen, "My restaurants are much more than businesses or even eating establishments; they are a personal expression of my cumulative life experiences, commitments and passions.
